DAY 1—WELCOME TO UTAH!
Arrive in Salt Lake City and meet your fellow travelers and Discoveries Director at our evening dinner. D

DAY 2—WEST YELLOWSTONE
We’ll start out day with a visit the town of Idaho Falls and the Museum of Idaho to learn about one of the least visited states in the country. Together, we’ll cross into Montana and arrive at the west gates of Yellowstone National Park to enjoy dinner at the Branch Restaurant. B, D

DAY 3—YELLOWSTONE NORTHERN LOOP
Bring your camera for a great day in the world’s first National Park! Journey along the Northern Loop with a local guide to visit Mammoth Hot Springs and other iconic stops along the way. We'll tour America’s wildest stretch of road, where bison, pronghorn, bighorn sheep, grizzly bears, and moose all roam. Yellowstone’s most famous residents – gray wolves – are often seen on the prowl. B, D

DAY 4—GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK
Today we depart West Yellowstone for more magical moments in Jackson, Wyoming. With the pristine Teton Mountains as your backdrop, you’ll enjoy an unforgettable scenic float down the Snake River. Then head deeper into Grand Teton National Park and check-in for a special two night stay at the iconic Jackson Lake Lodge, one of the premier lodges in the National Park system. B, L

DAY 5—YELLOWSTONE SOUTHERN LOOP
Yellowstone’s Southern Loop is home to the park’s most famous sites, including Old Faithful and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. An indepth guided tour brings the park’s history, ecology, and geology to life as you pass from one remarkable site to the next. Return to Jackson Lake Lodge for dinner in the famous Mural Room with stunning views of the Tetons. B, D

DAY 6—NATIONAL MUSEUM OF WILDLIFE ART
Enjoy a leisurely morning at Jackson Lake Lodge before visiting the National Museum of Wildlife Art. Take in vistas of the National Elk Refuge as you stand face-to-face with life-size sculptures and experience wildlife through art of all kinds. B, D

DAY 7—CRATERS OF THE MOON
Visit the geological wonder of Craters of the Moon National Monument. Considered by many to be among the nation’s next National Park, this area highlights the regions unique volcanic activity. Then, we continue our travels to Salt Lake City. B, L

DAY 8: RETURN HOME
This morning, we head home with fond memories of these two unforgettable National Parks. B

Arrival Time
Our Welcome Dinner on Day 1 is at our hotel, Holiday Inn Salt Lake City Airport, starting at 6:30 p.m. We recommend scheduling your flight to arrive by 4:00 p.m.

Departure Time
Schedule your flight home to depart the Salt Lake City Int’l Airport any time after breakfast Day 8. A breakfast voucher will be given to each person to use at their leisure. Breakfast is served from 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Plan your return flight home to best fit your schedule.

Airport Transportation / Vehicle Parking
Our starting hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to/from the Salt Lake City Int’l Airport. If you are driving to the starting location, they also offer complimentary parking for the duration of the tour.

Walking Distance
Moderate walking is required to fully enjoy this tour. Some walking will also be on uneven paths. While walking canes are allowed, we are unable to accommodate travelers using other mobility devices, including walkers and wheelchairs.

A total of three mailings are sent to assist you in preparing for your tour, including information sent upon receipt of your reservation.

Please note that elevations do reach up to 8,000 feet on this tour. If you are prone to altitude sickness, you may want to book a pre-night stay to fully acclimate. Cooler weather can also prevail at higher elevations.
