DAY 1—WELCOME TO BOZEMAN!
Start our winter wonderland tour in Bozeman, MT featuring a welcome dinner and overnight stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. D
DAY 2—ALPACAS OF MONTANA/WEST YELLOWSTONE
Delight in a unique farm tour by getting up close and personal with friendly, fluffy alpacas and llamas at Alpacas of Montana. Learn about alpaca care and fiber production while walking amidst and feeding these charming animals. What a photo op! Continue to West Yellowstone for a three-night stay at the newly renovated Holiday Inn Hotel just steps from the world’s first National Park. B, D
DAY 3—OLD FAITHFUL
Journey into Yellowstone National Park aboard a private, heated snowcoach guided by our local expert. Closed to normal vehicles, this is the only way to see Yellowstone cloaked in its winter beauty. Watch as herds of bison trudge through snowy valleys and see Old Faithful cast steamy water high into the winter sky. After a day exploring the snowy wilderness in comfort, return to West Yellowstone for dinner. B, L, D
DAY 4—YELLOWSTONE FREE DAY
Spend a free day exploring the area, choosing from many exciting options below. Feeling adventurous? Try a guided snowmobile tour in the park! B

Option—Snowcoach Tour to Lower Falls
Enjoy a guided snowcoach tour in the park to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, where you’ll see Lower Falls and Hayden Valley, along with thermal features and wildlife.
Option—Snowmobile Tour
Join a guided full day tour driving your own snowmobile to either Old Faithful or Canyon. Experience not recommended for people with mobility concerns.
Option—Explore West Yellowstone
Visit attractions such as the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center, the Yellowstone IMAX theatre, and the downtown strip of shops and restaurants (no advanced registration required).
Option—Rent Snow Equipment
Rent snowshoes, snowmobiles, or cross-country skis to explore the areas around West Yellowstone (no advanced registration needed; reserve on site).
DAY 5—WINTER SLEIGH RIDE/MUSEUM OF THE ROCKIES
Feel Montana’s pioneer spirit while traversing a winter wonderland aboard 320 Guest Ranch’s horse-drawn sleigh in the heart of the Gallatin Valley before indulging in a hearty western meal. Spend the afternoon at the Museum of the Rockies to learn how the Yellowstone area became a hotbed for geologic activity and wildlife. Later, upon arrival in Gardiner, check-in for two nights at the Absaroka Lodge and enjoy the views of the park from your private balcony overlooking the mighty Yellowstone River. B, L
DAY 6—LAMAR VALLEY
The grand adventure begins as a naturalist guides us into the magical Lamar Valley, where bison, elk, and pronghorn graze in the territories of the Park’s favorite predator - gray wolves. Since being reintroduced in 1995, wolves have been at the top of the bucket list for wildlife sightings in Yellowstone. After a morning on safari, enjoy lunch at the historic Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel and a stroll along the area’s colorful thermal features before returning to Gardiner. B, L

Our starting hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to/from the Bozeman Airport. If you are driving to the starting location, they also offer complimentary parking for the duration of the tour.
Walking Distance
Moderate walking is required to fully enjoy this tour. While the amount of walking may not be extensive, there is the likelihood of wintery conditions including snow and ice. Previous travelers have found assistance with trekking poles and/or cleat like straps called YakTrax. While walking canes are allowed, we are unable to accommodate travelers using other mobility devices, including walkers and wheelchairs.
