Arrive at Bentonville, Arkansas for our evening welcome dinner. Get to know your travel companions and Tour Director. D

DAY 2—CRYSTAL BRIDGES/ U.S. MARSHALS MUSEUM
This morning we depart Bentonville, but not before an insightful visit to Crystal Bridges Art Museum. In nearby Altus, we’ll be perfectly located on the path of the Total Solar Eclipse. We’ll enjoy the best and longest view of the Total Solar Eclipse, from approach, totality, and final shadow. We’ll be treated to a picnic lunch by St. Mary’s Catholic Church, a special landmark for the community and part of the National Historic Register for over 100 years. After our cosmic experience we return to Fort Smith for time on your own to explore the history museum, the Fort Smith National Site, and downtown shops. B, L

One of the most unique places in the Midwest, the city of Hot Springs overflows with character. Continue this afternoon to Little Rock for a visit to the William J. Clinton Presidential Library and Museum, including a special dinner overlooking downtown. B, D
