DAY 1—WELCOME TO PHOENIX!
Meet your Discoveries Director and fellow travelers at the Hilton Garden Inn in Old Town Scottsdale for a group welcome dinner. D

DAY 2—TALIESIN WEST/BASEBALL GAME*
Start off the morning with a tour of Frank Lloyd Wright’s beloved winter home, Taliesin West, nestled in the McDowell Mountains. We will see the private living spaces, Wright’s studio and experience both the interior and exterior architecture of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, head to the American Family Fields of Phoenix for our first of three spring training baseball games! To end the day, attend dinner at Rustler’s Rooste, situated atop a butte in the South Mountains. Once a hideout for cattle rustlers, we’ll enter through a mine shaft and saunter over an indoor waterfall. B, L, D

DAY 3—DESERT BOTANICAL GARDEN/BASEBALL GAME*
One of the best places to experience the variety of cactus and flowers in the Arizona desert is at the Desert Botanical Gardens. Spend the morning perusing some of the 50,000 displays of flora and fauna, including hundreds of endangered species. Then we are off to our second Spring Training baseball game. B, L

DAY 4—FREE DAY IN OLD TOWN SCOTTSDALE
Old Town Scottsdale, founded in 1894, is located just outside of our hotel! The day is yours to explore the local shops, sit by the pool, or take in another baseball game at Scottsdale Stadium, home of the San Francisco Giants, only a short walk from our hotel. B

DAY 5—ALPACA RANCH/BASEBALL GAME*
This morning we have pleasure of visiting Desert Mirage Alpaca Ranch and their 35 alpacas. Hear how this family owned and operated business began and learn about their daily experiences on the farm. Afterwards, attend our final game back at American Family Fields of Phoenix! B, L, D

DAY 6—RETURN HOME
Today journey back home, ready for the 2024 baseball season!

Arrival Time
Our welcome dinner on Day 1 is at our hotel, Hilton Garden Inn Old Town Scottsdale, starting at 6:30 p.m. We recommend scheduling your flight to arrive by 4:00 p.m.

Departure Time
Schedule your flight home to depart the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport any time after 2:00 p.m. on Day 6.

Airport Transportation
Country Travel Discoveries will be arranging complimentary transportation from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport to our hotel, Hilton Garden Inn Old Town Scottsdale. Please make sure to provide your flight information in order to have us set up this shuttle for you.

Moderate walking is required to fully enjoy this tour. Some walking will also be on uneven paths. While walking canes are allowed, we are unable to accommodate travelers using other mobility devices, including walkers and wheelchairs.
