DAY 1: WELCOME TO UTAH!

Arrive in Salt Lake City, UT, and meet your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner as your National Parks adventure begins. D

DAY 2: WEST YELLOWSTONE

Start the day with a visit to the Museum of Idaho, where exhibits bring the fascinating history of this rugged region to life. Then, continue to the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park and settle into West Yellowstone before dinner at the Branch Restaurant. B, D

DAY 3: YELLOWSTONE NORTHERN LOOP

Bring your camera for a memorable day exploring the world’s first National Park. Journey along Yellowstone’s Northern Loop with a local guide and visit iconic sites including Mammoth Hot Springs. Travel through one of America’s premier wildlife regions, where bison, pronghorn, bighorn sheep, grizzly bears, and moose roam freely across the landscape. Keep your eyes out for Yellowstone’s most famous residents, the gray wolves, often spotted moving through the valley. B, D

DAY 4: GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK

Today, depart West Yellowstone and travel to Jackson, Wyoming, where the dramatic Teton Mountains create a breathtaking backdrop for the day ahead. Enjoy an unforgettable scenic float along the Snake River before continuing deeper into Grand Teton National Park. Later, check in for a special two-night stay at the iconic Jackson Lake Lodge, one of the premier lodges in the National Park system. B, L

DAY 5: YELLOWSTONE

Explore Yellowstone’s Southern Loop, home to many of the park’s most famous landmarks, including Old Faithful and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. An in-depth guided tour brings the park’s fascinating history, geology, and ecology to life as you travel from one extraordinary landscape to the next. This evening, return to Jackson Lake Lodge for dinner in the renowned Mural Room, featuring stunning views of the Tetons. B, D

DAY 6: NATIONAL MUSEUM OF WILDLIFE ART

Enjoy a leisurely morning at Jackson Lake Lodge before visiting the National Museum of Wildlife Art. Overlooking the National Elk Refuge, the museum features life-size sculptures, remarkable exhibits, and artistic interpretations of wildlife from around the world. B, D

DAY 7: CRATERS OF THE MOON

Today, visit the fascinating volcanic landscape of Craters of the Moon National Monument. Formed by ancient lava flows, this striking region showcases the area’s unique geological history and otherworldly scenery. Later, continue to Salt Lake City for your final overnight stay. B, D

DAY 8: RETURN HOME

Travel home today with unforgettable memories of Yellowstone, Grand Teton, and the remarkable landscapes of the American West. B

Arrival Time

Our Welcome Dinner on Day 1 is at our hotel, Holiday Inn Salt Lake City Airport, starting at 6:30 p.m. We recommend scheduling your flight to arrive by 4:00 p.m.

Departure Time

Schedule your flight home to depart the Salt Lake City Int’l Airport any time after breakfast Day 8. A breakfast voucher will be given to each person to use at their leisure. Breakfast is served from 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Plan your return flight home to best fit your schedule.

Airport Transportation / Vehicle Parking

Our starting hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to/from the Salt Lake City Int’l Airport. If you are driving to the starting location, they also offer complimentary parking for the duration of the tour.

Walking Distance

Moderate walking is required to fully enjoy this tour. Some walking will also be on uneven paths. While walking canes are allowed, we are unable to accommodate travelers using other mobility devices, including walkers and wheelchairs.

A total of three mailings are sent to assist you in preparing for your tour, including information sent upon receipt of your reservation.

Please note that elevations do reach up to 8,000 feet on this tour. If you are prone to altitude sickness, you may want to book a pre-night stay to fully acclimate. Cooler weather can also prevail at higher elevations.
