DAY 1: WELCOME TO WISCONSIN!

DAY 2: STATE CAPITOL/LAMBEAU FIELD
Begin your journey with a guided visit to the Wisconsin State Capitol, home to the largest dome of all 50 states. Your next stop is the home of the Green Bay Packers, one of the most successful teams in NFL history! Experience Lambeau Field’s electric atmosphere on a guided tour and immerse yourself in the Packers Hall of Fame. Tonight, our home is in Wausau. B, L

DAY 3: LEIGH YAWKEY MUSEUM/RHINELANDER/MINOCQUA
Visit the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum, known for its “Birds in Art” exhibit. This afternoon, head to Rhinelander and meet a local historian at Pioneer Park for a lesson on Northwoods heritage. Enjoy some free time for dinner and shopping in Minocqua, commonly referred to as “The Island City” based on its unique geography. B, L

DAY 4: CRANBERRIES/FALL FOLIAGE/ASHLAND
Did you know that Wisconsin is the leading cranberry-producing state in the nation? Observe this industry firsthand during a stop at a local cranberry farm. Continue up into the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, recently named the #1 place to view fall foliage in the United States. Wind through scenic routes and enjoy the stunning hues of red and orange. This evening, arrive in Ashland, a charming town located on the shores of Lake Superior. B, L

DAY 5: APOSTLE ISLANDS
Today we journey to the northernmost part of Wisconsin: The Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. Known for its rugged sea caves, pristine beaches, and coastal lighthouses, this cluster of 21 islands in Lake Superior offers a beautiful escape. Take the ferry to Madeline Island, the largest of the Apostle Islands, for a special guided tour of the village of La Pointe and surrounding natural areas. Tonight, get a true taste of Wisconsin at a traditional supper club dinner. B, L, D

DAY 6: LEINENKUGEL’S/MISSISSIPPI RIVER CRUISE
On another beautiful fall day in Wisconsin, enjoy our group experience learning about Wisconsin’s brewing legacy at Leinenkugel’s historic facility. (No trip to Wisconsin is complete without a trip to a brewery!) This evening, enjoy a scenic dinner cruise along the Mississippi River in La Crosse. B, D

DAY 7: INTERNATIONAL CRANE FOUNDATION/RETURN HOME
Our final day begins with a trip to the International Crane Foundation. This organization is the only place in the world home to all 15 species of cranes, and visitors get a behind-the-scenes look at their conservation efforts. Depart Madison with new friends and fond memories of the Dairy State! B

Arrival Time
Our Welcome Dinner on Day 1 is at our hotel, Holiday Inn Madison at the American Center, starting at 6:30 p.m. We recommend scheduling your flight to arrive by 4:00 p.m.

Departure Time
Schedule your flight home to depart the Dane County Regional Airport in Madison any time after 2:00 p.m. on Day 7.

Airport Transportation / Vehicle Parking
Our starting hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to/from the Dane County Regional Airport. If you are driving to the starting location, they also offer complimentary parking for the duration of the tour.

Walking Distance
To fully enjoy your vacation, you should be in good physical health and understand there are times when a good deal of walking is involved in our tours. Those who have difficulty walking may not want to take this trip or should discuss their personal situation with their doctor before deciding. You should be able to walk at a steady pace up to a mile at a time for a daily total of three to four miles per day and be able to manage steps to board/de-board the motorcoach several times a day. In addition, please know you may be expected to exit the motorcoach at each stop because local law requires mandatory motorcoach driver breaks.

Due to the lack of proper facilities at some of the farms, ranches, and off-the-beaten-path sites we often visit, we are unable to accommodate walkers and wheelchairs.
