DAY 2: BIRTHPLACE OF AMERICAN INDEPENDENCE
Travel back to the earliest days of the American Revolution during a visit to Minute Man National Historical Park. With a local costumed guide, explore the site of the Revolution’s first battle and hear the story behind the “shot heard around the world.” Walk the historic grounds where colonial militia once stood as the events that changed the course of American history come to life. DAY 3: BOSTON, MA
Discover the rich character and history of Boston on a guided motorcoach tour through the city’s historic downtown. Walk portions of the iconic Freedom Trail, stopping at landmarks including Boston Common, the Massachusetts State House, Park Street Church, King’s Chapel, and the site of the Boston Massacre. Enjoy free time for lunch and exploration at lively Quincy Market before visiting the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, where interactive exhibits and historic artifacts offer a moving look at the life and legacy of the 35th President of the United States. B, D
DAY 4: PLYMOUTH, MA
Travel to Plymouth for a guided tour and visit to Plymouth Rock. DAY 5: CAPE COD
Experience the coastal charm of Cape Cod during a guided tour with a local expert. Travel along scenic Route 6A, one of America’s oldest roads, lined with historic homes and classic New England scenery. Stop at the Cape Cod National Seashore Visitor Center to learn about the region’s natural beauty and preservation efforts before continuing to Provincetown, where you’ll have free time to browse shops, galleries, and local restaurants. Later, board an excursion vessel for an exciting whale-watching cruise as an onboard naturalist shares insights about the whales and marine wildlife that call these waters home. B, D
DAY 6: MARTHA’S VINEYARD
Board a ferry to Martha’s Vineyard, an island known for its rich history, artistic spirit, and seaside beauty. Special Departure Information: This journey is offered in collaboration with our friends at Sunrise Tours. CTD travelers will enjoy an added evening in the destination, including a Welcome Dinner on Day 1, before the full group joins together on the morning of Day 2 to begin the touring experience.

Our Welcome Dinner on Day 1 is at our hotel, Boston Logan Courtyard by Marriott, starting at 6:30 p.m. We recommend scheduling your flight to arrive by 4:00 p.m.
Departure Time
Schedule your flight home to depart the Boston Airport any time after 1:00 p.m. on Day 7.

Our starting hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to/from the Boston Logan Airport. If you are driving to the starting location, they also offer complimentary parking for the duration of the tour.
Walking Distance
To fully enjoy your vacation, you should be in good physical health and understand there are times when a good deal of walking is involved in our tours. Those who have difficulty walking may not want to take this trip or should discuss their personal situation with their doctor before deciding. You should be able to walk at a steady pace up to a mile at a time for a daily total of three to four miles per day and be able to manage steps to board/de-board the motorcoach several times a day. In addition, please know you may be expected to exit the motorcoach at each stop because local law requires mandatory motorcoach driver breaks.
Due to the lack of proper facilities at some of the farms, ranches, and off-the-beaten-path sites we often visit, we are unable to accommodate walkers and wheelchairs.
