DAY 1 – WELCOME TO WASHINGTON, DC
Fly direct from Milwaukee’s Mitchell Airport to Washington’s Reagan National – the most convenient airport to the monuments and memorials of our Nation’s Capital! A special “welcome” lunch will be held in Alexandria, VA at Gadsby’s Tavern, built in 1785. We’ll stay west of the Potomac River to view some of the most revered grave sites in America at Arlington National Cemetery. Our guided tour includes the Eternal Flame for President John F. Kennedy, and the humble Changing of the Guard. From there, we head into the city. “Unpack and Stay” for the next three nights at DC’s premier boutique property, the Embassy Row Hotel. L
DAY 2 – SMITHSONIAN/DC SIGHTS/NATIONALS PARK
Explore any of the Smithsonian Museums located along the National Mall at your leisure, including the Museum of American History, Air and Space Museum, or the new African American Museum. Afterwards, the anticipation is building as we head over to beautiful Nationals Park for some exciting baseball action. Cheer on our hometown team against Washington from our reserved seats along with your fellow travelers. B
DAY 3 – NATIONAL MALL TOUR/WWII MEMORIAL/NATIONALS PARK
This morning begins with a guided tour of some of Washington’s most iconic landmarks – including the Washington, Jefferson, and Lincoln Memorials. We’ll also visit the famous World War II Memorial, which honors the 16 million citizens who served in the armed forces. Enjoy free time in the afternoon to take a stroll by the White House or U.S. Capitol Building, or perhaps head to the iconic Old Post Office Tower for sweeping views of the city. We will re-group and head out for our second night of Milwaukee baseball at Nationals Park. Enjoy dinner “on us” at the ball park tonight. B, D
DAY 4 – FAREWELL BREAKFAST/MILWAUKEE
After a leisurely breakfast, head home with a direct flight from Washington back to Milwaukee with lasting memories and new friends. B

Your tour director will meet you at Baggage Claim in Terminal A at Washington-Reagan Airport upon your arrival. The motor coach/tour will depart directly from the airport.
Travelers are responsible for covering their own parking at General Mitchell International Airport. Parking options include the covered garage connected to the terminal (currently $14), remote lot (currently $8), or other independent private off-site parking lots (prices vary).
Moderate to extensive walking is required to fully enjoy this tour.

Further information is mailed upon receipt of your reservation. A total of three mailings are sent to assist you in preparing for your tour…Get Ready, Get Set and Go! Our “Get Ready” packet is sent confirming your reservation. Our “Get Set” packet provides further information approximately 90 days prior to departure with important details regarding making your travel arrangements. Finally, our “Go” packet arrives 2-3 weeks before departure containing your final documents.
