DAY 1—WELCOME TO MAINE!
Arrive in Portland to meet your fellow travelers for a warm-hearted welcome dinner. D

DAY 2—MARITIME MUSEUM/MAINE BOTANICAL GARDENS
Embark on this adventure through coastal Maine, beginning with a visit to the Maine Maritime Museum on the banks of the Kennebec River. Immerse yourself in the maritime history of the region before continuing to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens to marvel at their breathtaking gardens. We’ll even discover the delightful trolls that inhabit the grounds! Enjoy a peaceful two-night stay in the charming town of Belfast where you can unwind and soak in the coastal ambiance. B, L

DAY 3—BLUEBERRY FARM/FRONT STREET SHIPYARD
This morning we travel to Brodi’s Blueberry Farm, where the tranquil beauty of the landscape intertwines with the allure of tasting fresh local blueberries. In Belfast, enjoy time on your your own and prepare to be enchanted by the impressive craftsmanship on display at the Front Street Shipyard and be captivated by skilled artisans shaping masterpieces through a mesmerizing glass blowing demonstration. DAY 4—FORT KNOX, COLE LAND TRANSPORTATION MUSEUM
Explore the historic Fort Knox, admiring its impressive architecture and scenic views. Then, delve into the world of transportation history at the Cole Land Transportation Museum, where you’ll encounter fascinating exhibits and vintage vehicles. Relax this evening and enjoy Maine’s picturesque Bar Harbor. B, L

DAY 5—BAR HARBOR/ ACADIA NATIONAL PARK
Begin your day with a guided tour of Bar Harbor, learning about its fascinating history and iconic landmarks. Then, venture into the breathtaking landscapes of Acadia National Park, where you’ll witness stunning vistas and immerse yourself in the park’s tranquility. Afterwards, you’ll have the opportunity to explore more of Bar Harbor at your leisure. As the day unfolds and the sun begins to set, sit back to enjoy one of the area’s long standing traditions as we laugh, whoop and holler at the Great Maine Lumberjack show! B, L, D

DAY 6—MINERAL AND GEM MUSEUM
Completed in 1832 using granite, the Maine State House is designed after its counterpart in Massachusetts. Enjoy a guided tour. Later, we discover the hidden treasures at the Maine Mineral and Gem Museum. Immerse yourself in a world of vibrant gemstones, rare minerals, and be amazed as you hold a piece of Mars and the Moon in your hands. Also, see fragments of meteorites among the rarest and oldest—4.5 billion years old known to exist. B, D

DAY 7—NORTH PEAK/PINELAND FARMS
Start your day with a ride up to the top of North Peak on a Chondola ride for sweeping views of the Sunday River Valley and Mahoosuc Mountains. Enjoy a guided tour at Pineland Farms, to learn about sustainable agriculture practices, interact with farm animals, and experience the beauty of the farm’s landscapes. Continue your adventure in Portland, exploring charming streets and soak up the rich maritime atmosphere. B, D

DAY 8—HOME
As this memorable tour comes to a close, it’s time to bid farewell to the friends you’ve made along the way and travel home. B

Arrival Time
Our Welcome Dinner on Day 1 is at our hotel, Hilton Garden Inn, Portland Jetport, starting at 6:30 p.m. We recommend scheduling your flight to arrive by 4:00 p.m.

Departure Time
Schedule your flight home to depart Portland Jetport any time on Day 8.

Airport Transportation / Vehicle Parking
Our starting hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to/from the Portland Jetport. If you are driving to the starting location, they also offer complimentary parking for the duration of the tour.

Moderate walking is required to fully enjoy this tour. Some walking will also be on uneven paths. While walking canes are allowed, we are unable to accommodate travelers using other mobility devices, including walkers and wheelchairs.
