We start our morning with breakfast at the resort at your leisure. Our first round of golf is at Dunes West Golf and River Club in Mount Pleasant, SC along the Wando River and Wagner Creek. The land of this course has a rich history dating back to 1696 and was once owned by Prince & Princess Pignatelli of Italy. The course, designed by Arthur Hills, opened in 1991 and meanders along marshes and charming live oaks. After we finish our round, we head back to the resort for an afternoon at leisure to explore the property, take a dip in the ocean or pool, or enjoy the spa! B, L

We will take a plantation tractor ride of the grounds followed by a guided tour of the mansion's first floor. Next, we re in for a real treat! Together we'll sit down for a wonderful southern style farm-to-table lunch with a private performance featuring the history of the local Gullah culture. Later, stroll the streets of downtown Charleston where you can take a carriage tour of the city, check out the shopping on King Street, take a walk down Rainbow Row, or find a bench to sit and enjoy the city's Pineapple Fountain. B, L
